Welcome aboard the USS Ares, an Intrepid Class vessel a part of Task Force 17, one of many task forces within Starfleet's Fourth Fleet, Bravo Fleet! The Ares ia a vessel primarily tasked with

exploration and scientific discovery, while maintaining peace throughout Federation space. The Ares, being a Federation vessel, is also tasked with several sub-directives including making peaceful contact with new species and discovering new civilizations.

The USS Ares is a play by forum simulation in the Star Trek universe. Set in 2383, four years after the events of Star Trek: Nemesis.
